I am a regular patron at Carlisle Theatre performances; however, this weekend, I had the opportunity to provide event support to my client, Cantate Carlisle, during the Spring concerts.
The space and stage were great for the performance. The staff - including Ashley and Amanda - were gracious, pleasant to work with, and willing to serve us even when we realized errors in our own specifications for the rental.
On weekends, parking is typically pretty easy, and the Theatre is easily navigable for patrons with mobility issues. It was a great two-day event, and we will happily continue our annual rental of the Theatre for our performances.
The Outlaws and Artimus Pyle band played the Carlisle theatre tonight. The theatre was so hot I almost left the show early. The mics were not allowing the voices to be heard. The lighting was so bad the Atimus Pyle band took time between songs to tell them to cut the lights down because they were being blinded. I probably won't go there again to hear bands. The ticket was $80. For center 6th row. I usually do not give bad reviews, But it was ridiculous.
We stopped here during the ice fest. To get a picture with Barbie. And we also were able to purchase a Barbie bag to help the theater as well. As having the concession stand open, this theater was great. It is not overpriced and I greatly enjoyed my time here
What a wonderful theatre to visit. They have movies, plays, musicals, concerts, and more. The community can sponsor movies and rent the theatre for private events. The Artistic Director and Box Office Manager are always helpful and working hard. There is plenty of history in this beautiful building, so if you have not visited, please do! I am so happy that there are so many caring people to donate their time and money to keep this business around. So, what are YOU waiting for? Grab some friends and catch a movie!
Absolutely love this theatre. Absolute tops since Ashley Byerts has been Artistic Director. "The Crucible" was stunning. First rate performances all around. Make it a regular part of your theatre experience!
